Facilities

Our classrooms have been developed to ensure age-appropriate environments are created for each year group that maintain the light, warm, family atmosphere of the school. The children enjoy excellent facilities for music, art, design & technology, an ICT suite and well stocked library.

The overall grounds are large and offer unlimited scope for outdoor play and sport including: football, tag-rugby, hockey, netball, cricket, rounders, tennis and athletics as well as nature and environmental studies.

New Developments

As part of the school's new expansion plans that will enable boys and girls to continue their education at Dair House right through to age eleven, work is well underway to develop and augment the existing facilities.

A programme of building works has seen the provision of new classrooms, improved facilities for music and design & technology, an enhanced ICT suite, a new school library, increased floor space in the sports hall and age appropriate changing and toilet facilities. The newly fitted kitchens will continue to provide freshly prepared, high quality school lunches for the children in our recently completed dining room.

Construction work, as required, will continue through to summer 2009 in order of priority, to meet the needs of each year as it moves through the school. All alterations to the building will be carried out by qualified and registered builders and will comply with necessary building regulations. Major structural work has been, and will continue to take place in the holidays to minimise disruption to children and staff.
