The dragon who wanted to swim
Jack is a dragon who lived in a dark, dingy cave right next to the sea. Every day he goes out into the lovely hot sea and starts to swim. If you watched him by his cave he looks like a tiny, green, shiny hill floating on the sea and if you try to catch him you see loads and loads of silver, green, blue, red, yellow, orange, purple, pink, gold and bronze fish. One day he went out to sea and saw a huge black octopus! The octopus said, “Jack, only come out of your cave and start swimming when I tell you to and every day just peek out of your cave and if you see me come out I will teach you how to swim properly in the sea. I will now tell you why. Jack, you scare all the fish every day. When you go home look in the mirror. You will be surprised to see yourself!” And Jack said bashfully, “OK, I will right now, immediately. I mean it!” The octopus said, “I nearly forgot to introduce myself. My names is Octo.” Jack went straight home to his dark dingy cave, went straight to the mirror and was very surprised and as the days went by Jack the dragon did as he was told!

The Fantastic Home
One day a little girl named Mia went to Germany with her Mum and Dad. When they got there Mia said, “It is very hot!” When they got to their hotel they went to see the swimming pool, but it wasn’t any ordinary swimming pool, it was a dolphin tank! Mia said, “I’m going swimming, bye!” Before her Mum and Dad could say anything she splashed into the tank. But as Mia jumped in something amazing happened. Mia saw houses, surely they were not the dolphins. She thought she would enter a house. Inside was the same. There were lights, rugs and books. But inside was a sad looking dolphin. Mia asked the dolphin why he was so sad. “The coral is not glowing and the dolphins can not see where they are going”. Mia noticed that the dolphins were building their houses where the sun’s reflection was. So Mia told the dolphin to tell the others what to do. The plan was to move the house so that the sun will reflect again. So they did. To say thank you they gave her some coral. When Mia got to the surface, she showed her Mum and Dad her sparkling piece of coral.
