Age range 8-11 years

 

Dair House is now taking boys and girls from the age of three to stay on until eleven. The new development schedule is well underway and will be fully completed by September 2009.

Curriculum

The curriculum continues to be enhanced with modern foreign languages, thinking skills and problem solving, science, PSHE, drama and music, art, design and technology and an extensive programme of physical education and games.

11+, SATS and Common Entrance

The curriculum will continue in line with the National Curriculum with a view to Year 6 taking the 11+ exams. Pupils will take SATS at Key Stage 2 (Year 6). Pupils will also be prepared for Common Entrance exams which some may take at Dair House for entry at 11 or at their next school for entry at 13.
